Scope of the Journal

TeacherWorld is an on-line journal where articles will be published as soon as they are ready for publication (benefit of the electronic medium!). This gives the journal the advantage to publish issues that are topical so that the issue will be built up and at any moment, one issue of the journal would be available to accept the articles.

The aim of the journal is to help better understand the needs of ethnic minorities within our educational system. Factors effecting educational change and the teaching profession will be highlighted. Through contributions made by members the journal will provide a platform to disseminate information which will inform good practice in the field of multicultural and anti-racist education. First hand experiences of members will be reflected in the articles which will take us beyond ideology and into reality.

TeacherWorld journal seeks contributions of articles on the issues affecting the developers of educational systems and educators who implement and manage such systems. The articles should discuss the perspectives of both communities and their relation to each other:

The articles should be original, unpublished and not in consideration for publication elsewhere at the timeof submission to Teacherworld and three months thereafter.

We aim to use technology to influence further developments in the educational arena through systematic feedback and suggestions
